Reda a French Morrocan 20 something young man is forced by his father to take him to Mecca by road from France. Reda is extremely unhappy with the journey and has many fights with his father along the way. During the journey they met intresting characters and face various difficulties.
At the end the reach Mecca and hi s father explains him why it was important for him to do this pilgrimage by car.
The father-son duo who shares tense relationship, by the end of the journey starts understanding each other better.
This was the first fiction film to be allowed to shoot at Mecca.
